Why We Must Continue to Self-Improve

What’s the deal with all this self growth and self innovation venture? Why make a fuss about in the first place? A man who once received the title as the ‘the world’s most flawlessly developed man’ had this to say: ‘Truest VICTORY is but the progress of self.’

It’s so convenient to treat personal development as ‘optional’ and so few people ever take the time to proactively try to improve themselves. Your personal progression and self development is debatably one of the most useful things you should do with your precious time. You can even justify that to produce your true capability is the purpose of being present in the world. In countless ways all your decisions are geared towards ‘self growth’. Whatever you do, you make out a positive objective. This, however is typically uncalculated and for the majority of people it’s a case of pursuing ‘objects’ and ‘material belongings’ with the (all to familiar) presumption that when they get enough belongings they will be content.

You don’t have to search too far to find just how incorrect this philosophy actually is. Every day we read about rich and successful people who take their own lives due to sadness. Why? True accomplishment lies within self-development. No one should give up at any point, no matter how successful they believe themselves to be. To find contentment, one must continuously search for ways to improve themselves.

The key to a lifetime of happiness lies in personal growth. Like in nature, everything that does not grow, diminishes! You will either flourish or decease, and although you probably won’t die a literal death, you most certainly will suffer an emotional death.

Every day life hands us possibilities we need to take in order to grow. This is where self-growth comes in to play, and you must do it on purpose and with an active mindset.
